Most of the people are facing OTP issues using ICICI
netbanking while travelling outside India. When people are travelling outside
India, in most of the cases they are unable to receive OTP on their mobile
registered in India (as mobile is not reachable, CDMA etc.). In this case there
are no other options to receive OTP as ICICI do not send OTP on registered mail
address for Indian resident person.
I have found a solution for this problem which is not a good
option but can be used if it is very urgent for someone to access ICICI
netbanking.
In general, ICICI netbanking allow you to access your
account without OTP on a machine if you have accessed your account on that
machine once. Once you have accessed your account, it will not ask you for OTP
in future.
But when we travel outside India, the IP address of your
machine changes due to which your machine is not recognized and you are unable
to access your account.
Now Try below....
1) Make sure you are on right PC/Laptop (I recommend you to
do this on your personal machine) on which you want to enable netbanking
without OTP.
2) Go to https://www.irctc.co.in/.
3) Login to site (create a login if require).
4) Book a railway ticket and make the payment by ICICI net
banking. (You can cancel your booked ticket later if not required and it will
charge you very less)
While booking railway tickets, it will not ask you for OTP
while.
Once you are done with ticket booking try to logon to you
ICICI netbanking, enter credentials, and hurrah!!! NO OTP this time!!!!!
